  • April, 2024: It's always inspiring to be engaged in outreach activities such as the orientation program in local highschool, sponsored by the European Union through the "Italia Domani, PNRR program". This semester we are teaching the Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Laboratory in the beautiful town of Altamura, Bari.

  • March, 2022: WE MOVED! Dr. Mummolo moved to Bari (Italy), her hometown. NJIT and all the family at the BME Department will be surely missed! But we will keep a strong collaboration with NJIT faculty while we continue our research work at the Politecnico di Bari. Stay tuned for new updates!

  • September 16, 2019: Dr. Mummolo and her international team of Early Career Investigators in the Interstellar Initiative won the Outstanding Team Presentation Award! Thank you Eleni Gourgou from University of Michigan and Teppei Matsui from University of Tokyo School of Medicine for the fantastic teamwork! Looking forward to develop our collaborative project!

  • July 12, 2019: Dr. Mummolo's application to become a PI in the Interstellar Initiative has been accepted!! Thanks to the sponsors New York Academy of Sciences and the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).

  • 04/07/19: Our abstract “Multimodal Foot-Ground Contact Interaction in the Analysis of Postural Balance” has been accepted to the 2019 Dynamic Walking Conference! We look forward to flying to the beautiful Canmore region.

  • 04/01/19: Dr. Mummolo is a selected participant to the 2019 NSF ENG CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop in Arlington VA.
